Why should I join the Cherokee Association of REALTORS®?
MISSION STATEMENT: We are the REALTORS® of Cherokee County. As Leaders, Educators and Advocates, CAOR members  serve our communities, protect private property rights, and elevate our profession.

Becoming a REALTOR® allows you membership to one of the largest and most recognized trade organizations in business. It shows the public that you adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and practice at a higher standard of professionalism.

You have access to an array of networking opportunities, resources, tools and education not available to real estate licensees.

As Cherokee REALTORS® we are proactively involved in our local communities by supporting the Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, MUST Ministries, Cherokee County Homeless Veterans Program, Never Alone Food Pantry, and so many others.

When will the 2026 annual dues billing begin?
All 2026 dues invoices will be emailed on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
How will I receive my invoice?
Invoices will be emailed to each individual member. If you do not receive your email, first check your junk/spam folder.  If you don’t find it there please contact the CAOR office.

You may also login to your Growth Zone member account to access your invoice.  Login here: https://members.cherokeerealtors.org/MIC/login

*Note: Invoices are emailed from our Growth Zone Association Management system and look different than the emails you’re used to seeing from us.

How long do I have to pay my 2026 dues?
2026 invoices are due by December 15th, 2025 and considered late on December 16th, 2025.  A $50 late fee will be applied.
Is there a late fee if I pay after December 15th?
Yes.  There is a $50.00 late fee applied to unpaid annual invoices after December 15th, 2025.
Will there be a payment plan for my 2026 dues?
Yes and no. When you receive your annual invoice and click the payment link you may pay any amount you’d like on any date but the invoice must be paid in full by December 31, 2025 to remain active status.

There is no longer a monthly installment option.

What is the "Suggested RPAC Investment" on my invoice?
“If real estate is your profession, then politics is your business”!

RPAC is the REALTOR® Political Action Committee.  Members may elect to make an RPAC investment with their dues billing each year.  RPAC funds go directly to political candidates who support REALTORS®, homeownership and private property rights. We like to think of RPAC as an “insurance policy” for our industry!  For more information on this and how you can get involved please contact us.

Why do you invoice and collect dues for next year before this year ends?
We collect our annual dues in advance so that our finance committee can prepare an operating budget for the upcoming year.  We prepare our budget based on the number of renewing members.

We understand this can be tough on new members but it will become a natural part of your business expense calendar once you enter your second year!

CAOR offers an option to payoff your invoice in smaller payments until your invoice is paid in full.  Just be sure to pay your balance in full by December 31st of the billing year (2025).

When does my membership expire?
Your membership expires on December 31st of each year.
The information on my invoice is incorrect. Who do I contact to make corrections?
Please email your correct information to staff@caor.info.
I'm thinking of placing my license in referral or going inactive. Can I get a refund?
As long as you request the refund no later than December 31st, 2025 you may get a refund of your 2026 dues.  As of January 1st, 2026 NO Refunds are given.  No exceptions. This applies to all three associations (Cherokee, Georgia and National).

If you feel you are likely to go inactive or referral status, please contact staff to discuss BEFORE paying your invoice.  770-591-0004 or staff@caor.info
