Will there be an increase in the dues for 2027?
NO, there will be no dues increases for 2027.
The total 2027 dues will be $498.00 or $533.00 with an RPAC investment.

Cherokee dues: $172
Georgia Association dues: $123
Georgia Association Scholarship and Disaster Relief Fund Assessment: $2
National Association dues: $201 ($156 dues + $45 ad campaign assessment)
*The NAR Ad Campaign Assessment IS MANDATORY.

Why should I join the Cherokee Association of REALTORS®?
MISSION STATEMENT: We are the REALTORS® of Cherokee County. As Leaders, Educators and Advocates, CAOR members serve our communities, protect private property rights, and elevate our profession.
Becoming a REALTOR® allows you membership to one of the largest and most recognized trade organizations in business. It shows the public that you adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and practice at a higher standard of professionalism.
You have access to an array of networking opportunities, resources, tools and education not available to real estate licensees.
As Cherokee REALTORS® we are proactively involved in our local communities by supporting the Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, MUST Ministries, Cherokee County Homeless Veterans Program, Never Alone Food Pantry, and so many others.
When will the 2027 annual dues billing begin?
All 2027 dues invoices will be emailed on Wednesday, October 1, 2026.
How will I receive my invoice?
Invoices will be emailed to each individual member. If you do not receive your email, first check your junk/spam folder. If you don’t find it there please contact the CAOR office.

How long do I have to pay my 2027 dues?
2027 invoices are due by December 15th, 2026 and considered late on December 16th, 2026. A $50 late fee will be applied.
Is there a late fee if I pay after December 15th?
Yes. There is a $50.00 late fee applied to unpaid annual invoices after December 15th, 2026.
Will there be a payment plan for my 2027 dues?
NO.
Beginning with the 2027 dues billing cycle, the online option to make partial payments has been removed. This change is necessary because the National Association of REALTORS® no longer accepts partial payments for their dues, and our GrowthZone billing system is unable to allow for individual payments to each association.
If you need to pay your dues in installments, we can still accommodate that by check only. Payments must be made in three separate checks written to Cherokee Association of REALTORS for the exact amount of each association’s dues:
- Cherokee Association of REALTORS® Portion: $172
- Georgia Association of REALTORS® Portion: $125
- National Association of REALTORS® Portion: $201
Please note that partial payments in any other amount cannot be accepted.
What is the "Suggested RPAC Investment" on my invoice?
“If real estate is your profession, then politics is your business”!
RPAC is the REALTOR® Political Action Committee. Members may elect to make an RPAC investment with their dues billing each year. RPAC funds go directly to political candidates who support REALTORS®, homeownership and private property rights. We like to think of RPAC as an “insurance policy” for our industry! Why do you invoice and collect dues for next year before this year ends?
We collect our annual dues in advance so that our finance committee can prepare an operating budget for the upcoming year. We prepare our budget based on the number of renewing members.
We understand this can be tough on new members but it will become a natural part of your business expense calendar once you enter your second year!
CAOR offers an option to payoff your invoice in smaller payments until your invoice is paid in full. Just be sure to pay your balance in full by December 31st of the billing year (2025).
When does my membership expire?
Your membership expires on December 31st of each year.
The information on my invoice is incorrect. Who do I contact to make corrections?

I'm thinking of placing my license in referral or going inactive. Can I get a refund?
As long as you request the refund no later than December 31st, 2026 you may get a refund of your 2027 dues. As of January 1st, 2027 NO Refunds are given. No exceptions. This applies to all three associations (Cherokee, Georgia and National).
