Matrix 101: Finding Properties and the Client Portal (3.25 hours)

Time is of the essence in today’s real estate market and customers expect quick results and personalized service from their real estate professionals. In this course, students will use Matrix to search for and customize property information from FMLS database for their buying clients. Students will learn multiple ways to search for property information, as well as utilize a variety of specialized tools to aid in their search. Students will also practice utilizing those methods and tools to locate properties of interest for a buyer. Students will leave with the knowledge of how to search, compile, customize and email property information to prospective buyers.
Topics covered include: how to search for properties for clients through the search screen, interactive map and speed bar; how to create specialized searches and save them for future use; use advanced mapping tools to draw, include overlays and points of interest in searching and narrowing of search results; exploring Speedbar short-hand codes and entry for quick searching; explore how the Client Portal can enhance and personalize service to their client; create and add clients, as well as saved searches, to the portal; utilizing the Client Portal and Dashboard widgets to monitor client activity; emailing property information to clients manually and through auto email; manage personal profile information including email notification and signature preferences.
